Measured reference — the Valve Steam Machine, not this build
This build has not been on our bench, so it carries no measured numbers of its own. These are our own measured results for the Valve Steam Machine — shown so you have a real, cited reference point rather than a spec-sheet estimate. They are that machine's numbers, not this build's, and the two do not share a parts list.

This list pairs a Ryzen 5 9600X with the PowerColor Reaper RX 9070 GRE, an SFX power supply, and a Fractal Terra case. Treat 1440p as the intended use, not a promise of a particular frame rate or graphics preset.
The Terra's adjustable internal layout trades graphics-card room against CPU-cooler room. Its headline maximum dimensions cannot all be used at once. Run the case, exact graphics card and cooler through the clearance checker together, then confirm the assembly position and cable room in the manufacturer's documentation.
Choose this proposal if you want to explore that component combination. Compare current prices with alternatives in the planner before committing. No measured result for a different machine proves the performance, acoustics or thermals of this one.
