RigBench
Benchmark your rig with the games you actually play - then put the numbers on your CouchRig profile.
Right now this site runs on numbers other people measured - GamersNexus, review outlets, the occasional careful forum post. That is the honest way to do it, but it has a ceiling: your rig, in your living room, running your games, never makes it onto the chart.
RigBench is how we fix that.
What it does
- Benchmarks the games you own on your own SteamOS rig - real frame numbers off your hardware, not spec-sheet guesses.
- Rolls it into a rig score you can line up against the builds on this site, so you know where your machine actually lands.
- Uploads the run to your CouchRig account when you are ready - it lands on your profile and feeds the community charts.
It is a separate app
RigBench is its own download - not a button on this site. You install it on the machine you want to test, it runs the benchmarks locally, and it talks to your CouchRig account only when you decide to publish a run.
It is not out yet, and we are not going to promise a date we might miss. We are building it in the open, and the move is to get on the list - one email, the day it is ready to download. That is it.
