What a buyer needs to know
$159.99 — and it cannot take an AMD gaming card AT ALL: Velkase's own compatibility list (velkase.com/pages/compatibility) names only NVIDIA cards for the Velka 3. SUB-6L IS A DEAD END FOR A CONSOLE — and not because nothing fits. Cards this short exist (the Sapphire PULSE RX 6400 is 170mm, single-slot, no power connector), but the RX 6400 and RX 6500 XT have NO HARDWARE VIDEO ENCODER — AMD's own spec pages say `H264 Encode: No`, `H265 Encode: No`. No encoder means Steam Remote Play, Sunshine and Moonlight are broken. That is silicon, not drivers: no update ever fixes it. Add 4GB of VRAM and the card is disqualified as a console. The shortest RDNA4 card at US retail is exactly 200mm, which is why 6L is the floor for this whole site. PRICE IT HONESTLY: $159.99 + a $20–90 riser (NOT included) + a Flex-ATX PSU (the loud, expensive 40mm-fan class — SFX does not fit). 37mm of cooler height means a Noctua NH-L9a and a 65W CPU, forever. This is a hard build, not a first build. THICKNESS TRAP: 175mm long AND 43mm thick. The MSI RTX 5060 Inspire ITX clears on length (145mm) and is 45mm thick — it does not fit. Do not buy on length alone.
