What a buyer needs to know

$33.99. The COPPER one (520g). THE BEST 47mm COOLER — buy this if your case clears exactly 47mm. If it clears 53mm or 54mm (e.g. the DeskMeet X600), the AXP90-X53 FULL BLACK is better FOR THE SAME MONEY. ⚠ HOW TO TELL THE VARIANTS APART: the aluminium and copper AXP90s have an IDENTICAL fin stack and an identical part name. The difference is WEIGHT — 310g (aluminium) vs 520g (copper). The listings lie; the weight does not. (There is a dead, mislabelled 'AXP90-X47 Full @ $22' Amazon listing, B0B66TPX32, 'Currently unavailable'. It is what led us to publish a wrong price once. Ignore it.) THE COPPER PREMIUM, ACTUALLY MEASURED (a clean controlled test — same fins, same fan, same bench): copper 83°C vs aluminium 87°C @88W. ~3–4°C for ~$12. Real, not transformative. TDP RATING: NOT PUBLISHED. Thermalright publishes no TDP figure for ANY cooler in the AXP line, so we store none and the engine does not check this cooler against your CPU's TDP. We will not invent a wattage for the most-recommended part on the site. What we DO have is measured temperature (noise-normalised 35dBA, 7800X3D @75W): AXP120-X67 77°C · AXP90-X53 FULL BLACK 81°C · AXP90-X47 FULL copper 82°C · Noctua NH-L9a 89°C. ⚠ Nothing was tested at exactly 65W (closest real data: 75W), and these rankings rest on ONE reviewer who self-describes as 'not experts'. The confident numbers you will find elsewhere for these coolers appear on no page we could open — the data lives inside chart images.
